1) No. The black antenna cable is just a FM diversity antenna. On the station wagon/estate it is connectet to the antenna in the right side rear window. The display and all the button apart from the on/volume are functioning, the display is blank but the unit is still connecting to bluetooth phone and I can still use the steering stalk to control the track etc.
