On their birthdays you will get a birthday booster item which gives you 24 hours of playtime worth of WvW XP boost. The boost doesn't wear off while you are logged out, so it is really good. If you have 10 characters that means after their first birthday you will get 240 hours of WvW XP boost. That's a lot of boost.
One of the best ways to get through the initial mastery grind and open up gliding is to run Torn from the Sky a second time, possibly with an alt, and try for some of the achievements — some are very easy (one you can get just for being a Sylvari!), and you can earn 15-20 AP in less than half an hour.
Fastest way is to actively follow a commander while using exp boost and other Boosters that increase the gain. Only in borderlands, not edge though. Alternatively, gain max participation, either follow a commander or solo some camps. Then go to the ruins in the borderlands and just cap them.
Also, keep in mind that your daily login rewards will include level up tomes as you go along. So to get higher level faster, I would recommend exploring maps but skipping doing the hearts if they're not fun for you, and mixing in some PvP. As a bonus, winning a PvP match generally completes your daily for an easy 2 gold and some achievement points.
Cooking 440-450 (optional): Spam any of these three Bloodstone Brick, Dragonite Ingot, or Empyreal Star . Cooking 440/450-500: Do the achievement Gourmet Training, it will reward 50 cooking lvl once you finish. You will need to cook all these food by yourself for the achievement: Norn Culinary Demonstration: Bowl of Snow Truffle Soup, Sesame
Please deal with level up rewards. At this point I now have 20 characters and every time I make a new one I get those irritating level up rewards. They're basically useless to me at this point and the gear can't even be salvaged or sold. So please ANet, if you won't let us salvage or sell that stuff, give us the option not to get level up
Dukr1. Then do next higher level zone. And so on.2) Horizontal: do first zone of your race. Then do first zone of "other" race. Use Lions Arch to get there. Finish all starter/first zones and only then jump to higher level zone. For speed(how fast you level up), it makes very little difference if you do 1) or 2).
You're better off going power-based build and at 80 branching into condition. Best warrior weapons & skills to unlock while levelling based on my own experience: Axe/Axe - Lots of damage spiking. Greatsword - Mobility and heavy hits. Healing - Mending: Condi cleanse & heal. Good forever.
Don't forget to press F2 whenever it's up to get back energy. Energy management is the trickiest part of the class, will take a lot of practice to get used to. Remember that your rotation involves switching stances whenever it's up since it puts you back at 50% energy. Go Sword/Sword + Hammer as Set 2.
Members. 809. Posted April 8, 2018. Farming Mastery XP is the same as farming XP while leveling: stack up on on-kill XP bonuses (e.g. XP Boosters, Guild XP Booster, Food, Utilities, Black Lion Boosters, etc.) and kill level 80 mobs, especially yellow-named mobs, to capitalize on the bonus XP they gain the longer they remained on the map.
Killing yellow neutral mobs which give up to 400% additional xp based on how long since they were last killed, quite a bit of luck involved here. Events give a fixed 10% of your current level regardless of difficulty/level range, so event trains with other players in low level zones clearing quickly can go pretty fast.
Crafting is. You can get from 1-80 solely by craftng if you have enough gold. (each level 400 craft gives ~10 levels) The secret is to never crafting something you already know how to craft UNLESS it's really cheap for the sake of powerleveling. (as in the case of Artificer potions and food) always be discovering.
